CalHFA HiCAP Silent 2nd

• The HiCAP program is discontinued for San Diego County effective June 11, 2007.
   

• $7,500 silent 2nd mortgage (no repayment will living in the home) with a 6.75% simple interest
   

• Same purchase price limits as CalHFA 1st mortgages
   

• Can be applied toward down payment, but not toward closing costs
   

• Same income limits as CalHFA 1st mortgages
   

• Combines with all other CalHFA loan products
   

• Buyer who qualifies for CalHFA 1st mortgage will be able to obtain HiCAP 2nd in San Diego County
